You’d rather wish the next time you scrutinized yourself you could strip away that odious weight and conquer the world with an improved you. I don’t promise an improved you, but I can guarantee a renewed body and increased self-esteem.

1) Fill your fridge: You head me! Your fridge is crying for low-fat, high fiber foods. She is your best friend , and she’ll be right there waiting when you feel the urge to order take-out or when you’re coming home and want to stop off at the nearest store for junk food.
2) Set a realistic goal: Don’t wish for five pounds the first week, aim to shed 1-2 pounds within the first week. You’re on the right path, but building up resolve is most important in the beginning than losing 5 pounds the first week.
3) Throw away bad habits: Every morning, do no sit in front of the tv, or stay in bed to finish reading a book. Get up and jog or do aerobics for 20 minutes. There is no time like the morning! Also, no more gum, it just aggravates your hunger. Bye Bye!
4) Diet Change: Your dietary habits are obviously not helpful, so make a schedule (I know so boring!) to on what foods you plan to eat, eating a small meal every 3 hours. If there is no low-fat, high fiber foods like fiber, or protein foods, throw this schedule away and start again.
5) Count Calories: This is not the key to success, but it will mentally re-inforce your weight loss goals and help you understand the sky you’re shooting for.
6) Eat oatmeal cereal instead of bread: Bread is your enemy in the morning – it converts to sugar once eaten- not your friend!
7) Last but not Least: Exercise wisely! I’ve said before cardio exercises will help you more than you can imagine, as well as strength training in the afternoon.
I need you to believe in yourself. You took the pledge! Keep repeating it every time you want to stray! You have all it takes to lose this weight- this green enemy is daunting but not invincible! Please, follow my rules, you cannot wave a magical wand and hope the fat flies away. But you can recite the pledge like a spell, it really can be one if you believe.

Madame Secretary of State?
This Thursday, two Obama aides let slip that Hillary may be in the running for Secretary of State. My correction, she's not just in the running, she could be considered a top contender for the almighty position!
Here's the problem: is this hot air from the Obama camp or is the vetting process truly underway to declare Hillary the new Face of Foreign Policy? I haven't given up on a Hillary Presidency yet, fool that I am, but a SOS has never rised to presidential prominence before.
Then again, Hillary has ushered through many unprecedented firsts for females before - maybe she's still got her eye on the prize. I certainly hope so.
Terry McAullife, her former campaign chair has already begun the PR Round, saying "She is a beloved figure who is continually rated the most admired woman in the world". Let me say, this is not flattery. In fact, Hillary Clinton has consistentlyy been voted The Number One Most Admirable Female by the USA Today Gallup Poll.
This woman is amazing despite the sexist, liberal, Obama-loving press. Can I make it anymore obvious? I WANT THE TRUE PRESIDENT TO BE THE SECRETARY OF STATE. Hate me for being persistent in my desire for a Hillary Prsident, I just don't care.

Hillary Clinton - One PUMA's View
THIS POLITICALLY CHARGED SUMMER proved the end of Hillary Clinton's historic campaign to be the Next President of the USA. Not truly a die-hard supporter when she declared her campaign, I was pleasantly surprised when her speeches and charisma dared to equal her husband, and her sincerity surpassed.
Let me lay it straight: I fell in love with this woman! She did the impossible - re-defined herself after the 1990's democrat vs. republican warfare to become the shining white knight for the democratic victory. Obama, who initally had star power but little else was a minor blemish on the FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT horizon.
Why Did it All Go to the Dogs?
When Hillary was routed in February with the landslide caucus victories for Obama, there was tremendous Clinton empathy from women nation-wide as she struggled and pulled off two huge victories in Ohio and Texas. I thought she might actually snag that ever elusive democratic nomination.
The trouble was while Hillary was enjoying a second wind, Obama was relaxing in his wide delegate lead, and the Ref was planning to blow on an incomplete game. Hence, teh final stretch of the primary for Hillary was a war-zone, a tight-rope, anything that make you want to hold your breath, stabilize your chattering teeth, and leave nail marks on your cheeks. One slip and my hero would fail.
She was valiant - I'll give her that, so brave and courageous. But the gravity of powers that be would not be stopped. One by one, the superdelegates declared a premature win for Obama, and the Obama-Loving Press called it as if it were true.
The PUMA roar was absolutely unheard after the Democratic National convention - with very little money and a staggering economy, once again fate silenced the hillary sympathizers like me.
Now that the arrogant hot air ballon Obama is now the PRESIDENT ELECT, I supose it was written in the stars for one so untested and scripted to claim the presidency. I suppose as much I mourn the loss of the first female president twice as competent and strong as any Obama president, I should count my losses and call it a night. I suppose I should.
Even as I type through tears, Even as Obama is 71 days from claiming power, Even as Hillary touts his choice of Rahm Emmanuel as the next Chief of Staff, I say: For one brilliant moment I saw the potential for a free world led by Hillary Clinton. And that potential had been breathtaking.
